SOCIAL SANCTUARY AT NSC

Kick those Monday blues to the curb at Social Sanctuary – your weekly night of free live music at NSC. We’ve lined up a stellar roster of your fave local artists and some exciting new talents breezing through town!

This week Eaglemont, Fan Girl + Jarrow are stopping by for a show.

······································································

Eaglemont, the jangle rock project of Melbourne’s Bridgitte Jessop, is on the precipice of something huge. After launching the project with debut singe Mediocre at Best in 2018, Eaglemont has quickly made a name for themselves on the Australian music scene, demonstrating an impressive ability to combine clever wit and genuine heart within their lyrics, encased within a perfectly cool, distortion-heavy sound.

Known for their eclectic mix of intensity, colour and catchiness, much-loved Australian (Naarm/Melbourne) outfit Fan Girl, triumphantly return with a boisterous, kinetic and incredibly catchy new single ‘falling’.

Crawling out of hibernation with a few crumbs of new material & an updated lineup to boot, Jarrow returns to the NSC stage with a fiery vengeance. Expect extra sharp riffs, extra cheeky lyrics & extra obnoxious drum solos. 9 out of 10 doctors recommend more jangle pop in your daily intake and Dan Oke & friends are here to forward it directly to your eardrums.

Kickstart your week and catch some incredible live acts, congregate with fellow music lovers, and enjoy a little sanctuary.

Social Sanctuary is proud to be sponsored by Mountain Goat.

Our show is being held on the lands of the Wurundjeri People and we wish to acknowledge them as the Traditional Owners of this land we are gathered on. We also pay our respects to their Elders, past and present, and Aboriginal Elders of other communities that may join us for our show.
